Special Guest Speaker:
Tom Starnes is Director of Processors at Objective Analysis where he analyzes the vendors, products, and applications of embedded microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSP), core processors and processor intellectual property. Mr. Starnes has been deeply embedded in the processor industry for 30 years, serving as the Chief Analyst of processors at Gartner, following 17 years at Motorola (now Freescale) marketing numerous microprocessors and DSPs when those were the chips to beat. Mr. Starnes has written numerous articles and given untold presentations on processors, has advised the largest semiconductor vendors as well as start-ups, and has been widely quoted in the press.
